Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 4, 2026
PXLA ("PXLA," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website pxla.com (the "Site") and provides IT support, managed technology, cybersecurity, cloud, and AI consulting services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have — including specific rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA").
By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you submit a contact or request form on the Site, we collect the information you enter, which may include:
- Name
- Email address and/or phone number
- The service you are interested in
- The contents of your message
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and timestamps. We use this information only in aggregate for security and site-performance purposes. The Site does not currently use cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request
- Communicate with you about your account, request, or service delivery
- Maintain and improve the security, safety, and performance of the Site
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share information only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf solely to operate the Site and deliver our services (for example, our email delivery and website hosting providers), under obligations to protect your information
- Legal authorities, where required to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request
- A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to this Privacy Policy or a materially similar one
4. Data Retention
We retain the information submitted through our forms for as long as necessary to respond to your request, provide services, maintain business records, and comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. We do not maintain a customer database on the Site itself — form submissions are delivered directly to our business email inbox.
5. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law:
- Right to Know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we have shared it.
- Right to Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing — as noted above, we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of at this time.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — we only collect sensitive personal information (if any) that you voluntarily include in your message, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond responding to you.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of your privacy rights.
How to exercise your rights: Email us at tech@pxla.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, which may include confirming the email address or phone number associated with your submission. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will respond within 45 days, with a possible one-time 45-day extension when reasonably necessary.
6. Shine the Light (California Civil Code § 1798.83)
California residents may request information once per year about any personal information we may have disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. As stated above, we do not share personal information for third-party direct marketing purposes.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers support a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, the Site does not currently respond differently to browsers with DNT enabled.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information you provide. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
